I started watching Boston Legal with the second episode of Season 2, after James Spader and William Shatner had each won their second straight Emmy. I became enthralled with the show and almost instantly developed a huge crush on James Spader/Alan Shore. Even though that infatuation has now faded a bit, I'm still in love with the program because of its great cast, wonderful writing and unique (at least on network television) lack of fear when it comes to taking on difficult issues.

All last summer, I had a fantasy of somehow summarizing all the cases that have ever been on the show. I wasn't sure how to do it though - I started just creating a bare-bones html page of my own, but then I realized I wanted to have cross-links to the various clients, judges, witnesses and attorneys that had participated in each case. That was when I had the revelation that a wiki would be the perfect way to implement this. Thanks to Wet Paint for providing the tool to put my dream into action.

The case database is still in creation, and the site has grown to be so much more than just that. Still, I feel like I've only touched the tip of the iceberg of content that could be added. I hope others will continue to add their own contributions and comments.
