ABC Summary
Alan Shore comes to the aid of Jerry “Hands” Espenson, whose troubled client stands accused of murdering her ex-girlfriend. Meanwhile, the eccentric Lincoln Meyer (guest star David Dean Bottrell) resurfaces at the firm, taking a peculiar interest in Shirley Schmidt, and Denny Crane and Bella Horowitz (guest star Delta Burke), the mother of his diminutive girlfriend, Bethany (guest star Meredith Eaton-Gilden), anxiously await paternity test results to determine whether he is Bethany’s father. Constance Zimmer joins the cast as a series regular as of this episode,in the role of Claire Simms.

I couldn't help but think the best part of this show was Alan's banter with Denise... and yet, no one is talking about it! I want to have that clip of him in her office running on an infinite loop... it was naughty brilliance!
So, um, the minute that clip becomes available, somebody please post. gracias. :) BTW, whose face was that that Delta Burke was wearing? ew. |

But enough is enough with Jerry Espenson. Nothing against his character, but we love Alan to be taking on the most unwinnable cases, not an unprobable series of cases caused by Jerry.
