Attorney Beckham was one of three attorneys representing cell phone manufacturer Cybus Technologies in 3x10 [The Nutcrackers]. The company was sued for contributing to the death of a man who had been struck by lightning while talking on one of their phones. After listening to the fast-talking arguments of Denise Bauer, Brad Chase, and Jeffrey Coho - the legal team representing Annabelle Carruthers, the man's widow - Attorney Beckham and his colleagues made a settlement offer of $75,000.

Although they had no lines and were not named, Attorney Beckham's two colleagues were identified in early side scripts as 'Attorney Rooney' and 'Attorney Ronaldo', an apparent nod to the world-famous English soccer club, Manchester United. David Beckham, Wayne Rooney, and Cristiano Ronaldo all play (or once played) for the team.
