Beah Toomy is a client who appeared in the episode 1x01 [Head Cases]. She was the mother of Sarah Toomy, the young girl who was passed over for the lead role in a production of the musical "Annie". The Toomy's needed representation to sue the theater company on the basis of racial discrimination and were represented by Alan Shore. With help from Reverend Al Sharpton's surprise appearance at the trial, they reached a settlement with the theater allowing Sarah to be an weekend understudy and in three matinees a week.
