Notes: - Brad Chase asserted his authority by assigning the case to Alan. Since the clients could not afford the costs, Brad suggested a bet - if Alan won, Brad would pay the cost of prosecuting the case. Alan agreed to the bet and added that if he lost, he would pay DOUBLE the cost.
- Sarah performed "Tomorrow" - the signature song from the musical in question - in the courtroom, at the request of Judge Sharpley.
- The Reverend Al Sharpton made a surprise appearance at the trial as a favor to Denny Crane. The defendant settled to avoid the likelihood of negative publicity brought on by Sharpton's involvement.
