Case: The client sought to overturn a temporary restraining order (TRO) which was holding up his shopping mall development project.
CP&S Representation: Brad Chase and Denny Crane
Opposing Counsel: Attorney Donny Crane
Presiding: Judge Leslie Bishop
Outcome: Judge Bishop ruled that the TRO against the mall project should be made permanent.
Notes:

• The TRO was issued to protect the spawning ground of an endangered species of salmon.
• Opposing counsel Donny Crane introduced himself as Denny's son. Denny admitted he'd had a one-night stand with Donny's mother and had provided financial support to her to help raise the boy.
• The case was handled almost entirely by Brad. Denny was happy and proud that Donny won, even though he was on the opposing side of the case.
• Denny later revealed to Alan Shore that Donny's mother had confessed long ago that Denny was not really Donny's father, a conversation which Donny overheard.
