Notes:

Attorney Pauley was the same woman Alan had gotten released from the psychiatric hospital (see Case 1x02.1).

Alan asked Judge Resnick to have Attorney Pauley disqualified because he felt she'd gotten herself assigned to the case just to face him in court. However, the judge ruled that Alan's only recourse was to recuse himself.

Although the jury ruled in favor of their client, Alan had requested an award of $750,000 while Attorney Pauley had offered to settle for $250,000, so the jury's ruling was essentially a defeat for Alan.
