Edwin and Lori's murder case

Case: The client was accused of murdering a police officer.

Notes:

Edwin left the psychiatric facility where he'd been housed since his nervous breakdown (see Case 2) and showed up at the Court of Criminal Sessions. He offered to represent Mr. Litch, who had just fired his seventh public defender.

Brad Chase sent Lori to the court to make sure Edwin did not embarrass the firm's reputation.

Lori attempted to rescind Edwin's offer of representation, but Judge Harding refused to allow the trial to be postponed. He added that if Edwin couldn't represent Mr. Litch then Lori would have to do it. Lori then decided to work with Edwin on the case.
