Notes: - Jason Binder's only character witness was his mother, Helen Binder, who had a loose-fitting glass eye which tended to come out when she gets a little upset, as happened during her testimony.
- Four years earlier, Jason had been beaten up by Jared Grant and Gregory Stone, a witness at the trial. Jason then took classes in martial arts to prevent himself from being bullied.
- The prosecution argued that Jason had sought out Jared Grant to kill him in revenge. Lori convinced the jury that Jason had acted in self-defense and did not intent to kill Grant. However, after the verdict was read she saw Jason direct a menacing stare toward Gregory Stone and realized he probably had been guilty.
