Notes:

• Denise first attempted to challenge the constitutionality of present divorce law, arguing that alimony was an archaic institution designed long ago to protect women when it was rare for them to have their own careers. However, Judge Hober denied the motion, and Reverend Diddum then increased the figured to $890,000.
• Denise then asked Garrett and Sara to engage in a "paper war with the Reverend", flooding him with subpoenas and other requests, so that he would eventually come back with a more reasonable settlement offer.
• Instead, Garrett came up with another tactic based on Reverend Diddum's history of sexual harrassment. During negotiations with Reverend Diddum in 2x03 [Finding Nimmo], Sara pretended to have a "clergy fetish" to lure him into making an inappropriate advance. Garrett secretly videotaped the reverend agreeing to a reduced figure of $390,000 in exchange for sex. They then blackmailed him, and he agreed to the final payment figure of $100,000.
