Notes: - Ryan Myerson came to Alan Shore because his previous attorney felt that they could not win the case and was recommending he plead to manslaughter, which Myerson did not want to do. Myerson was adamant that Alan Shore move forward with the trial as quickly as possible.
- Myerson's nurse, Jody Young, had supplied the morphine but said to his wife that she could not aid in ending her life, which is when she turned to her husband.
- On the stand, Myerson gave a moving testimony, stating that his wife's pride and intelligence made the knowledge that she was losing her faculties so unbearable that she repeatedly asked to be allowed to die.
- After the jury read out the verdict Alan Shore caught a look between Ryan Myerson and Jody Young, and realised the real reason Myerson wanted to proceed so quickly with the trial. It also cast doubt on whether Myerson had indeed acted in accordance with his wife's wishes.
