CP&S Representation: Jeffrey Coho, Denise Bauer, Claire Simms
Opposing Counsel: A.D.A. Jonathan Winant

Notes: Events in this episode:
  • Scott Little entered the offices of Crane, Poole & Schmidt requesting counsel. Jeffrey Coho volunteered to handle the case.
  • Jeffrey and Claire Simms performed the first interview with the client, after which Claire withdrew from the case, believing he was guilty. Shirley Schmidt then assigned Denise Bauer to help Jeffrey.
  • Scott was afraid that he'd be implicated in the murder of Judge Marcia Hooper. The two had been having an affair, and he had been with her earlier on the night she was killed.
  • Scott and Jeffrey voluntarily approached the police and were interviewed by Detective Richmond, who treated Scott as if he were a suspect.
  • Jeffrey learned that the victim had gotten a restraining order against Lincoln Meyer, her neighbor, six months earlier. Denise and Jeffrey went to see Lincoln at his home, but their visit was cut short when they learned that Scott had been arrested
  • At the arraignment, bail was set at one million dollars. Jeffrey learned from A.D.A Winant that the piece of evidence which clinched the arrest was a video which showed Scott telling his therapist, Dr. Simon, that he'd had dreams of killing Marcia Hooper.
