• Scott Little was released on bail.
• Claire Simms pretended to befriend Dr. Simon in the hopes of getting some useful information. He confirmed that the Hoopers were having marital problems and that he had stopped treating Marcia Hooper because of the conflict of interest in seeing them both. He also said Mrs. Hooper had been infatuated with him and, later, that he had been kissed by the actress Gina Gershon.
• Denise noticed some freshly-cut flowers in a photo of the murder scene and wondered if Lincoln Meyer had been there that night. Jeffrey went to visit Lincoln again and confronted him with the negative words about him in Mrs. Hooper's affidavit. Lincoln reacted angrily and sent Jeffrey away.
