Notes: - Bethany Horowitz represented the plaintiff, Graham Potter, whose wife Cindy had died during surgery which took place in India.
- The initial settlement discussions for the case took place in 3x03 [Desperately Seeking Shirley] - Denny got involved in order to settle Bethany's complaint against him. He agreed to sit in on one settlement discussion and after the meeting, he offered her the full services of Crane, Poole & Schmidt. Denny made Brad the "point man" for Bethany at CP&S.
- After Bethany's opening argument, another settlement discussion took place. Attorney Jovanka offered $650,000. Bethany was ready to accept, but Brad talked him higher by saying continuing the trial was not worth the bad publicity about medical outsourcing that would be generated. He requested $950,000, and Jovanka agreed.
