Craig Bierko as Jeffrey CohoCraig Bierko (Jeffrey Coho) joined the regular cast of Boston Legal in episode 3x02 [New Kids On The Block]. He is perhaps best-known for his Tony-nominated portrayal of 'Harold Hill' in the 2000-2001 Broadway revival of The Music Man. He is also known for his recent film appearances, as boxing champion Max Baer in Cinderella Man (2005) and as a character spoofing Tom Cruise in Scary Movie 4 (2006).

Bierko was born on August 18, 1964, in Rye Brook, New York. He made his stage debut at the age of ten in a community theater production of Gypsy.

His television credits date back to an appearance on the family drama Our House (1987). In 1989, he had small recurring roles in Newhart and Paradise and appeared for a time on the daytime drama The Young And the Restless. In the spring of 1990, he landed his first starring role in the short-lived comedy Sydney. That fall, he appeared in an episode of Murphy Brown, with Candice Bergen. Other roles in that time period included a recurring role on Norman Lear's The Powers That Be (1992) and another starring role on the short-running series, Pride & Joy (1995), which also featured other future stars Jeremy Piven and Caroline Rhea.

In 1998, Bierko had a memorable turn as a superagent on the popular comedy Mad About You, and in 2001, he appeared as Carrie's attention-deficited jazz musician boyfriend in two episodes of Sex And the City. In between those two, he worked on a David E. Kelley show for the first time, in an episode of Ally McBeal (2000).

Besides The Music Man, Bierko also appeared on Broadway in Thou Shalt Not (2001-2) and off-Broadway in other shows, including in a 2004 production of Fired!, which was created by one-time Boston Legal guest star Annabelle Gurwitch.

In 2006, Bierko featured in an unaired NBC pilot entitled The Great Malones, in which he played the character of Tommy Malone, a charming thief. Unfortunately, the pilot was not picked up, but that opened another door as he was then available to join the cast of Boston Legal later in the year.

Other "Six Degrees of Boston Legal" notes:

- In 2006, Bierko appeared in the psychological thriller Danika, with Marisa Tomei. In 2000, Tomei appeared in the psychological thriller The Watcher, with James Spader.

- In 2002, Bierko appeared in I'm With Lucy, with Monica Potter. Monica Potter appeared in Season 1 & Season 2 of Boston Legal.

- Bierko appears in the latest Christopher Guest film For Your Consideration, with several former guest stars - Ed Begley, Larry Miller, Jane Lynch, Parker Posey, and John Michael Higgins.
