Played by Larry Miller

A named partner of the firm Crane, Poole & Schmidt, Edwin Poole no longer takes a normal caseload because of the breakdown he suffered as shown in the opening scene of episode 1x01 [Head Cases]. Since that episode, he has appeared only twice - in 1x04 [Change of Course] and 2x24 [Deep End of the Poole].

In scenes that were deleted from the aired version of Head Cases but shown on the Season 1 DVD, Edwin was seen to be completely infatuated with Tara Wilson.

Larry Miller
Known for his droll comedy act, Larry Miller has been appearing on television since winning a televised standup competition called The Big Laff Off (1978). His many movie credits include a role in the James Spader movie Dream Lover (1994), while his television guest spots include two episodes of the brief David E. Kelley show The Brotherhood of Poland, New Hampshire (2003). Among his recent projects, Miller featured in the 2006 comedy film Keeping Up With the Steins and the latest Christopher Guest mockumentary For Your Consideration, which also features Craig Bierko, Jane Lynch, John Michael Higgins, Parker Posey and Ed Begley. Miller is also developing a new original sitcom (starring himself) for TBS.
