Played by Annie Wersching

Ellen Tanner was the mother of the singing twins, Katey and Lauren, in 3x10 [The Nutcrackers]. She and her husband George were in a custody battle over the girls with Ellen's sister, Annette Shaw, who objected to the Tanners raising the girls as travelling performers advocating white supremacy.

Wersching's first television appearance was in a 2002 episode of Enterprise which also featured Rene Auberjonois. Her other television credits include spots on Frasier, Charmed and, E-Ring.
