Erica Dolenz is Jerry Espenson's (and Alan Shore's) client in the murder case in episodes 3x08 [Lincoln] and 3x09 [On The Ledge]. She is accused of murdering her ex-girlfriend Paula Wilkes.

The Iowa native is perhaps best-known for her starring role on the primetime soap Melrose Place (1993-97), on which she played 'Sydney Andrews'. Leighton's subsequent role as 'Sophie Burns' on several 1998 episodes of Beverly Hills, 90210 garnered her a Screen Actors Guild award nomination. Since then, she's had several guest roles, including on a 2006 episode of CSI: Miami.

Leighton is married to fellow ex-Melrose Place star Doug Savant, and the couple has two children.
