Jim Ortlieb has been appearing on film and television since 1985. He had recurring roles on Roswell (2000) and Felicity (2000-1). In 2000, he had episode appearances on both David E. Kelley's Boston Public and Bill D'Elia's Judging Amy. In 2003, he appeared in the Christopher Guest film A Mighty Wind, along with numerous Boston Legal guest stars - Parker Posey, Jane Lynch, Larry Miller, Ed Begley, and John Michael Higgins.
