Played by Butch Hammett

George Tanner was the father of the singing twins, Katey and Lauren, in episode 3x10 [The Nutcrackers]. He and his wife Ellen were represented by Alan Shore in their fight to maintain custody of the girls.

Hammett's television credits include a 1998 episode of The Practice. Originally from Atlanta, Hammett received rave reviews for his autobiographical live one-man show Southern Comfort (2005). He's also worked extensively with the filmmaking team of Robert Moniot and Taz Goldstein, who specialize in short spoofs such as Pearl Harbor II: Pearlmageddon and The Dancing Cow.
