Gracie Jane is the obnoxious cable news pundit who shows up whenever there is a high-profile case in Boston. She first appeared to cover the "Black Widow" trial in 2x02 [Schadenfreude] and then showed up again to cover the Scott Little trial at the beginning of Season 3.3.

Between those two trials, Gracie Jane guest-hosted on Larry"Larry King LiveLive" (2x09 [Gone]) when Denny Crane appeared to discuss his recent shooting incidents. That seemed to be the first meeting between the two although Denny bragged in 3x03 [Desperately Seeking Shirley] that he'd had a sexual encounter with her "once". It could be that this encounter occurred after they met on Gone, or perhaps Denny was embellishing his past. Either way, in 3x05 [Whose God Is It Anyway?], she and Denny arewere briefly seen (re-)consummating their relationship in a witness room at the courthouse.

Jill Brennan made her television debut in an episode of Boston Legal executive producer Bill D'Elia's show Judging Amy (2000). Following that, she had roles in a couple of television movies including as Billie Jean King's mother in When Billie Beat Bobby (2001). Besides her role on Boston Legal, she's also had recurring appearances on Desperate Housewives and Gilmore Girls.
