Tom Selleck is best-known as the star of the long-running '80s television series Magnum, PI. He had been appearing on television for over ten years before hitting the bigtime. He then parlayed his fame as 'Magnum' into a mildly-successful film career, most notably starring in 1987 feature film Three Men and a Baby (directed by Leonard Nimoy). Since then, he's been able to pick and choose his roles, including a recurring character as Monica's boyfriend in nine episodes of Friends. Selleck is also a producer of various film/television projects, including the Jesse Stone movies, in which he also starred.
