The Tanner twins were at the center of a child custody case in 3x10 [The Nutcrackers]. They were being home-schooled by their parents while being raised as performers. The catch is their "performances" were in support of white supremacy. Shirley Schmidt assigned the case to Alan Shore, who defended the Tanners' right to raise the girls in this manner, despite his personal distaste for their ideological beliefs.

Gennelle and Alanna Dedek are talented twin sisters born in Edmonton and now living in Los Angeles. The two appeared on television previously in an episode of 8 Simple Rules (as Lily and Kelly) and three episodes of Four Kings (as Lexi and Lissa). Gennelle and Alanna also team up to dance and won two national championships in tap dancing in 2002.
