Nelson Mashita is a seasoned actor with a busy career in live theater (Winchester House, A Distant Shore) as well as a lengthy list of television guest credits. He has worked previously on three David E. Kelley shows, beginning with two episodes on Picket Fences (1994), two on Ally McBeal (1997, 1999), and one on The Practice (2002). In each of the last three of those appearances, Mashita played a jury foremnn. In 2005, Mashita appeared on an episode of Jake In Progress in which Marisa Couglan also guest-starred.
