Played by Curtis Armstrong

Dr. Zachary Simon is Scott Little's therapist, who had also treated murder victim Marcia Hooper and her husband, Judge Brian Hooper. After Scott Little voiced fantasies to Dr. Simon, about thoughts of harming Marcia Hooper, Dr. Simon had turned the videotape of the session over the Brian Hooper. Marcia Hooper was found dead later that evening.

During the trial, Claire Simms pretends to befriend Dr. Simon to try and elicit more information out of him. She succeeds in learning that Brian and Marcia Hooper had been having marital difficulties.

Curtis Armstrong
Curtis Armstrong is best-known for his portrayal of 'Booger' in Revenge Of The Nerds (1984). Far from resisting the chance of being typecast, Armstrong embraced the role and reprised the character in several sequel films. Armstrong has had a busy career beyond that one role - besides Boston Legal, he has had other recurring roles on the likes of Moonlighting, Felicity, and Grey's Anatomy. Other roles include episodes of Murphy Brown, with Candice Bergen, and David E. Kelley's Ally McBeal.
