ABC Kills Boston Legal - Will another network pick it up?

Hi everyone, i live in Australia so i am not familiar with US television network practices but if the cast and crew of BL were up for it, would it be possible for another network, such as NBC or CBS, to pick up BL and continue the series on their network?

I don't know about anyone else, but it really annoys me how television audiences are only very rarely given a show which is worthy of being called a 'great' show, only to have it taken off air because only a small number of viewers were able to appreciate its quality, while the majority of viewers tune in to watch crap like Big Brother. Its happened to BL, its happened to Battlestar Galactica, its happened to Jericho (which i will admit is good, but not as good as BL and BSG).

ABC hasn't killed Boston Legal. It's been renewed for a 5th season of (13) episodes. That was part of the deal with the network for acquiring David E. Kelley's new series was that they renew Boston Legal for at least 13 episodes which would give them 100 episodes which is what they need for syndication markets.
Most shows want to reach at least 100 episodes for syndication market ( that is where the local stations can buy it and view it in there market and of course the actors love it becauseit means another pay check for them). The 100 episode mark means that the stations who purchase it have at least 3 months turn around time before repeating the series over again in there market.
