Hi, nightcrew - Definitely, one thing I want to add to Jaime's great bio (or anybody can add really), is episode references to each of the bits of information. Re puzzles: It's never been mentioned, but Alan is shown happily doing a jigsaw puzzle at the beginning of 1x02 [Still Crazy After All These Years] while he's waiting for Christine Pauley at the psychiatric hospital.

She indeed wrote a great biography and I love it! I have learned more than I had expected. I did not know that much of Alan Shore, since I have miss several episodes of The Practice, I have watched all of the episodes of Boston Legal. I will have to go back and watch those The Practice episodes.
